Our Sterilization And Hygiene Protocols

At ROOTS & DENTISTREE, we strive to ensure that our patients feel informed about all aspects of their dental care. We are here to make you feel comfortable with your experience. It is of the utmost importance that our patients should be provided with the best dental care and also protected from cross contamination by providing them with the highest quality standards of sterilization and hygiene protocols. Our Sterilization protocols have been designed according to the American & European Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and also regulation set by the Indian Dental Association.

To eradicate the potential risks of Cross-Contamination and any type of Infection we follow Stringent measures of Sterilization and Infection Control in our dental practice.

Our Sterilization And Hygiene Protocol Includes

One Time Use

We use as many disposable single use instruments and consumables as possible.

Scrub

All the dental instruments used are scrubbed thoroughly with swabs soaked in antiseptic solutions after every patient. The instruments are then immersed in a Sterilization solution for 45 minutes for standard disinfection.

Cold Sterilization

Liquid Sterilization is carried out in a concentrated cold sterilizer for complete anti-bacterial, antiviral and fungicidal activity

Autoclaving

Our instruments are packed into sterile autoclaving pouches and autoclaved in a sterilization device (Autoclave) that uses high temperatures and pressures. We use the best dental autoclaves that generate temperatures of 121 degrees at 15 psi. The autoclaves are also checked regularly to ensure proper efficiency and complete sterilization activity.

UV Chamber

We store all our perfectly sterilized dental instruments in a UV (Ultraviolet) chamber. This maintains a completely sterile environment which is only broken when we open the sealed packets at the start of every procedure. At Roots & Dentistree Dental Clinic, we pride ourselves in showing you that we go the extra mile to ensure your health and safety.

Additional Safety & Hygiene Measures

We use only RO filtered purified water in our chairs and hand-held pieces.

Disinfectants are passed through our water lines regularly to ensure they are free of contaminants.

All our dental equipment like digital sensors for x-rays and curing light probes have disposal sleeves that are discarded after each and every patient.

Our staff wears sterilized aprons and rubber gloves, masks at all times, which are disposed off after every appointment.
